On Tuesday, 10\/02\/2026, the Community Development and Continuing Education Institute launched the \u201cPalestinian Youth Voice\u201d<\/em> project in partnership with the Directorate of Education in Bethlehem Governorate and Palestine Ahliya University, and in cooperation with four public schools in the governorate: Musqat Secondary Girls School, Al-Firdous Secondary Girls School, Beit Sahour Secondary Boys School, and Al-Khulafa Al-Rashideen Secondary Boys School. The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation is the main supporter of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The launch event was held in the presence of partners and representatives of educational institutions, along with the targeted male and female students. Approximately 142 participants attended in an interactive atmosphere that reflected strong interest in the project and its objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cPalestinian Youth Voice\u201d<\/em> project targets students aged 14\u201317 from public schools in Bethlehem Governorate. It aims to equip them with dialogue, debate, and critical thinking skills, and to strengthen their role as proactive leaders within their communities by transforming them from passive recipients into active and influential contributors to societal issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project adopts an interactive educational methodology that provides a safe and stimulating learning environment. This includes designing and implementing a range of tools that combine specialized training, the development of sustainable educational resources, public debates, community initiatives, podcast production, and the empowerment of teachers with debate skills and techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening ceremony included remarks emphasizing the importance of the project and its role in enhancing youth engagement. A presentation was delivered outlining the project\u2019s concept, objectives, and key components. Inspiring success stories from the Institute\u2019s previous experience in the field of debates were also shared, along with an overview of the project\u2019s future plans and upcoming activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event concluded with an open Q&A session, which witnessed active participation from students of the partner schools, as well as school principals and teachers. This reflected genuine interest in the project and high expectations regarding its anticipated impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cPalestinian Youth Voice\u201d<\/em> project comes as part of the Community Development and Continuing Education Institute\u2019s ongoing efforts to promote the values of tolerance, strengthen civic engagement, and build an aware generation capable of leading positive change in Palestinian society through interactive education and meaningful community participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
