The Community Development and Continuing Education Institute in Bethlehem held its 14th Annual General Assembly meeting, with the attendance of the majority of its members, achieving the required legal quorum, in addition to members of the Board of Directors and the executive team.
The meeting was opened by Prof. Dr. Imad Al-Zeer, Chairman of the Board of Directors, who presented the proposed agenda for discussion and approval by the General Assembly.
Mr. Khaled Shananeh, the Institute’s Executive Director, delivered a presentation on the projects and activities implemented during the past year. He also reviewed the administrative report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025, highlighting the achievements made at the internal organizational level, as well as in building partnerships and signing agreements. He commended the training programs and activities carried out during this period, in addition to the Institute’s new projects. The administrative report was then put to a vote and approved unanimously.
The session continued with Prof. Dr. Imad Al-Zeer presenting the key points of the financial report for the same period, in the presence of the Institute’s external auditor, Mr. Akram Abu Al-Zulf. The report outlined financial flows, expenditures, and revenues. After addressing members’ inquiries, the financial report was put to a vote and approved unanimously.
During the meeting, the Board of Directors was formally discharged of liability for the past year, and a new external auditor was elected for the 2026 fiscal year.
At the conclusion of the session, Prof. Dr. Imad Al-Zeer expressed his sincere appreciation to Mr. Khaled Shananeh and the executive team for their outstanding performance and achievements, which reflect a qualitative advancement and a promising future for the Institute. He also thanked the members of both the Board and the General Assembly for their continuous support, and called on members to actively engage with the executive management by proposing ideas and initiatives to be implemented within the Institute’s activities.
